Welcome to Coastal Cleanout LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our junk removal services in Sussex County, Delaware. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, contacting us for a quote, or scheduling junk removal services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Coastal Cleanout provides professional junk removal services including, but not limited to:

  • Residential junk removal (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
  • Commercial cleanouts (offices, retail spaces, warehouses)
  • Construction debris removal and light demolition
  • Estate and foreclosure cleanouts
  • Same-day and scheduled junk removal

We reserve the right to refuse service for hazardous materials, items that require special licensing, or jobs that pose safety concerns to our team.

Pricing and Payment Terms

Minimum Service Fee

All services have a minimum charge of $100. We do not provide services for amounts less than this minimum.

Pricing Structure

  • Pricing is based on the volume of junk removed (measured in truck/trailer space)
  • We provide free, no-obligation estimates before starting any work
  • Final pricing is determined after on-site assessment of items and volume
  • You are under no obligation to accept our quote

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service
  • We accept cash, credit cards, and digital payments
  • All prices quoted are in USD
  • Applicable taxes and disposal fees are included in our pricing

Booking and Scheduling

Appointments

Services can be scheduled by calling (302) 858-6388 or through our website contact form. Same-day service may be available based on our schedule and availability.

Cancellations

We understand plans change. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations (less than 2 hours before scheduled appointment) may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Access Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring our team has safe and clear access to the items to be removed. Additional fees may apply if access requires special equipment or creates safety concerns.

Customer Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the items to be removed
  • Ensure you have the legal right to dispose of all items
  • Not include hazardous materials (chemicals, asbestos, biohazards, etc.) without prior notification
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present during service
  • Clearly identify all items to be removed before work begins
  • Secure pets and ensure a safe working environment

Prohibited Items

We cannot accept the following items:

  • Hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, oil, gasoline)
  • Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
  • Medical waste, biohazards, or infectious materials
  • Radioactive materials
  • Explosives, ammunition, or weapons
  • Items containing freon (unless properly drained by a licensed technician)

Liability and Insurance

Our Coverage

Coastal Cleanout carries general liability insurance. We take every precaution to protect your property during junk removal, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear.

Customer Property

While we exercise care when removing items, we are not liable for damage to lawns, driveways, or pathways caused by normal truck/trailer movement. Extreme care will be taken with narrow spaces, but additional fees may apply for difficult access situations.

Item Disposal

Once items are removed from your property, they become our property. We make every effort to donate or recycle items when possible, but we are not obligated to do so. Items removed cannot be reclaimed.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coastal Cleanout's liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Sussex County, Delaware.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
